Interior finish and dry installation both require a strong expertise and have to be executed with strict attention to binding guidelines regarding fire safety and sound insulation. Prior to installation, TKS project management verifies current regulations with the finishing contractors, obtains permits and ensures a professional implementation.

Interior finish includes carpentry work such as wall paneling, furniture, counters, buffet and bar installations as well as mobile partitions for use in meeting rooms, for example. Further, it involves constructing inside doors for hotel rooms which have to be fireproof and soundproof. Carpentry work is assigned to either interior finish or to furnishing as part of the FF&E package, depending on the project.

Dry installation is becoming increasingly important in hotel construction. Plaster board walls, in particular, help create room design solutions that can be altered quickly and easily to accommodate varying situations. Dry installation includes the installation of suspended ceilings and fireproof cladding as well as the application of dry screed.
